"heads up"是什么意思？
如果别人对你说 heads up
其实是在提醒你有事要发生了，要小心点
heads up = 小心，注意
也可以写成heads-up
这个短语可以与give搭配表达成
give sb a heads up = 事先提醒某人
例：
Oh, sorry. I wasn't paying attention. Thanks for the heads-up.
哦抱歉，我没注意。谢谢你的提醒。
This note is just to give you a heads up that Jason will be arriving next week.
这张便条只是先提醒一下你Jason下星期要来。

"go to sb's head"是什么意思？
这个短语主要有两个意思：

例：
Don't let success go to your head.
别让成功冲昏你的头脑。

（酒精）上头，使某人醉
例：
I have to eat something or the drink will go to my head.
我得先吃点东西，否则喝酒容易醉。

"keep your head"是什么意思？
keep your head = 保持镇静，保持清醒头脑
也可以说成keep a cool head
例：
She kept her head under pressure and went on to win the race.
她保持镇静，继续努力赢得了比赛。
如果是keep your head down则表示：
避免麻烦，保持低调
例：
He's in a bad mood today - I'm just keeping my head down.
他今天心情不好——我得小心别惹麻烦。

"head in the clouds"是什么意思？
脑袋在云里
可以用来形容想法飘飘然，不切实际
也可以表示不专注于周围发生的事情
head in the clouds = 心不在焉；做白日梦
常用搭配have one's head in the clouds
与之相对应的
have one's feet on the ground 或 down-to-earth
脚踏实地的；务实的
例：
Instead of having your head in the clouds, you need to be more down-to-earth.
你应该脚踏实地，而不是做白日梦。
